Warranties come with the truck. It may cover repairs but your fixed cost stack up. Then you get In a hole.

Imagine being in the shop from Tuesday to Friday. No loads until Monday. Now you have a 2000 fixed cost to cover. Take home will be difficult to accomplish until the following week.
Lots to consider before signing a long term contract.

Wicked is a really nice guy and patient ... me? Not so much.

Fact of the matter is based on your questioning here, you don't need to be leasing or owning your own trucking business. You need to have business skill and acumen. If you had it, you wouldn't be asking the kinds questions you are asking.

My advice, go take some on line business courses ... accounting, taxes, business planning and analysis.

Technology is convenient, but it can be a pain.
I transfloed my bills from last week, but I'm not seeing any of them posted on my pre-settle sheet. (They email you what they plan to pay you with all listed deductions, so you have a day to review and make changes or corrections)
so I am going to see if I have to resent them. At least I have them.
Remember kids, always make copies of your bills, and keep them for your records. You never know when you'll need to see what a certain address was or the name of the guy or gal that signed it.
Thats enough of my rant against technology, that I'm writing on an iPhone on a website.
