If you have the 7" Dezl, try playing with the Voice Command feature. I have it on the Nuvi in my car, and when buried in the menus, I say "Voice Command" (beeps) "Show Map".

The Voice Command feature alone is worth picking the Dezl.

DING DING DING DING DING...We have a winner!

I never paid attention to the Voice Command feature, but that's even easier than pressing a button. Thanks!

There is an excellent trucking GPS on the market that will run circles around the Garmin, Cobra, and Rand. It does not get much publicity but it is faster with far better routing than any other and costs less. It is the Trucker's Tablet. Not found in truck stops, you have to order it. I used first model for 2 yes and just got upgraded model this week after switching to TND 730. Dumped 730 in one day after it said fastest routes were 30 to 80 miles longer than I knew to be the case. TheTT is missing a few features such as MM but routing and rerouting are spot on as is hazmat routing. Reroute is instantaneous. The new model has a usable Android tablet as well.

you won't convince the public of that.

for some reason. 99% of truckers seem to prefer the only brand that has 10 million pages of on TTR.

I didn't keep my rand long either. $400 was too much money for a paperweight.

Well, supply is one reason people buy those others.

There is also this thread devoted to the Truckers Tablet. Interesting reading.

I did the same as you. I tried to like RM. I bought two different gps's from RM bought bad. Customer Support really sucks badly. They could have cared less is the attitude I got from them. I see it still hasn't changed. I have a Garmin as well...

Deleting the address history frequently keeps it from freezing. I heard the new RD has a faster processor though.

Not the issue. RM sees the issue and is working on a fix.

    Thanks,

You should probably return it, let your cdl lapse too... Something that has a couple bugs you can't handle.. You'll be screwed when you have a blow out and they won't return your truck
