Talbert HT 35 Issue

    Purchased a used 2017 Talbert HT 35 with warranty remaining and the HYD tail doesn't open up all the way, the tail lifts at its max but the secondary part that folds out doesn't fold completely out, it stops about 10" before it should make contact.
    I made a appointment with Hale trailer, they said it was due to the hinges weren't greasable so they installed grease fittings, when i picked it up it still didn't open up all the way, i asked why and the mechanic said none of them open up all the way.
    I called the service manager a few days later and asked him my options on getting this fixed, he said he would contact Talbert.
    Talbert told him they can make a adjustment that might fix the issue, i stated that i didn't see any area on the tail where there is a adjustment, he stated his tech guys at Hale said they didn't see where there is a adjustment either but Talbert will talk them through it when i take the trailer back to Hale Trailer, and also stated that this will be the last work done on this trailer under warranty.
    Then he stated afterward that the tail doesn't open up all the way on these trailers "According to Talbert"
    I stated thats not true, on Truck Paper there is a 2007 for sale with a video of how they operate and the tail opens up all the way on that one.
    I don't know how to proceed with this issue.

    Does it open all the way when you open it and set it on the ground when* you put weight on it? Like does it have the swing to open, but doesn't on its own power?

    Why is this the last warranty work to be done? Is it about out of warranty, or is it a junk trailer?

    This^^^ or I wonder if it has an air pocket in the cylinder(s) preventing it to fully extend? Make sure they have the correct cylinder on it also. It could be one they mistakenly put on and is at the end of stroke?

    Yes, when i lower it down onto the ground the weight and pressure makes it open completely from touching the ground

    Trailer is in excellent condition, service manager told me this is the last work they will do under warranty, IMO they think it is acceptable "Talbert".

    60 gallon split tank has aprox 7/8 full, Hale Trailer told me that most of the HT 35 Talberts do this, but on truck paper there is a video of one for sale and the tail opens completely, the cylinder is at the end of its stroke on mine.

    I've not looked at one of those up close, but is the cylinder pinned solid on both ends, or is one pinned and the other slides in a slot? The slot would allow movement on uneven ground so you don't damage the cylinder if something gets a bit of a twist in it. I could see it not opening all the way until weight was applied, if that's the case.
    I'm more thinking out loud and trying to gain some more knowledge than anything.
