Me too, and I live three miles from their plant. But they lost my trailers paper records. So now my trailer with a Talbert vin plate, a Talbert title, and looks like a Talbert. She denies building. It currently has s cam issues. So for fun I just drop it off at local repair shops so they can pull their hair out trying to figure out the parts. They always call saying talbert denies building the trailer first. So currently its been down for 3 weeks torn apart trying to locate the proper s cam parts.
Trailer does fine but it has some odd ball parts on it. -
I put new S cams on mine last winter, I pulled them took them to my parts store he went in the back and brought out 6 new ones. I never involve the OEM in stuff like that.Crusader66, SAR and Oxbow Thank this.

That' my point!! No one can figure out these s cams. I've never seen a setup like this

It' not the first time this trailer has caused headaches looking for parts.

We measure out everything. And thought we found something that might work. But they came in a hair short.

While i do have a issue with the HT35, I don't think Talbert trailers suck.
Every manufacturer has issues one time or another, the good ones don't mask it, they take care of it.
I also own a Talbert 55SA that's over 10 years old with no issues, i was looking to update the 55SA and looked at every 55 Ton trailer in my area "Northeast" and didn't see a better design then the Talbert 55 Ton, the area for excavator boom location is the best in the industry in design for getting the boom down as low as possible, neck design and outrigger usage is pretty good too. -
Did you look at their ratchet neck?Crusader66, Dirty-Low-Walker, SAR and 1 other person Thank this.
-
Yeah that sounds like a good deal. Like I said the trailer itself has been good.
Unfortunately the Talbert I own seems to be a strange duck. You would think they aren't the best if you just spent 2 1/2 weeks trying to figure out what and where to find something simple like s cam parts. When you then try and get help from Talbert they decide they didn't build it.Dirty-Low-Walker Thanks this. -
Is it possible they didn't build it? I mean, perhaps someone rebuilt at least that part of it with different parts and that really isn't a problem with Talbert?
