1.. use a straight gate shifter.. get 1 for a early 70's Mopar
2 switch out your motor .. go big or go home..get a 12 cylinder Detroit
3.. build a Marmon Truck take the boxed hood off and modify a hood off a IH Lonestar..and run super singles
Ditch the twin stacks for side pipes too...ditch the dualls for super singles on the back and make sure you have full lockers in your rear screws so you get good hook up
Your gona need to go with a 5 point harness instead of your original seat belt though.. maybe even a DOT approved fire suit..
Last but not least make sure you get 12" lettering across the back of your sleeper .. that says ... SHAKE & BAKE
That should have you running low 7's then
