    Who cares. Same reason for all personalized accessories for trucks and life. People like different things. Personally a truck that runs has cruise control and the ac works is at the top of my list.

    Because we can, same reason for having more horsepower than "necessary," as if there is such a thing.

    At first I always thought “that’s pretty cool”. Then I got one of the custom shift knobs and I realize most do it for a different look. I’d like to have my shift tower one piece (top of shifter is eye level) chain link whenever I get around to it. Then paint it to match. At this point it’s about being unique.
