Don't you use LS for your fuel card or something like that?? I know that thru their priceing system you get a big discount on tires and stuff just like we do. Not sure how it all works, but try giving them a call and finding out because we can get Bridgestone tires for $450-$500 depending on model.

I agree to a point. i will drive on a flat as long as it's not throwing shrapnel all over to the next nearest tire place. But if it's more than a 50 mile drive, i would probably go out and remove the tire from the rim (I have a couple pry bars and a air-cut off in the truck) then go to where I could get it fixed as long as i wasn't too heavy.

Yes I buy 100% of my fuel off there card but I was told in order for me to go thru LS I had to get a PO# I had the TA on the phone for almost a hour and the LS lady didn't understand what was going on TA said they couldn't take that card for payment
After doing my taxes this year I'm not sure I'm getting any fuel discounts. I know you get the cash price taking off the card when you buy fuel but I don't think that money in savings is going back on my card I'm following it now I'll know if I am or not! -
Yeah, if you fuekl at a TA/Petro you will get whatever the "cost plus" price is for the day. When you pump your fuel, your reciept will show the "cash" price but at the end of the week, check you invoice from Comdata and it will show the discounted rate and amount you saved off the cash price. i usually save $30 or more each time i get fuel. that adds up pretty quickly.
As for the tires, you have to call LS in advance and get authorization from them for the tires. Then you go to the shop and they call LS and they will issue the PO after that. You can't use the card for getting the discount or the purchase. It comes from corporate and "LCAPP" -
im not saving anything close to that its about $1.75-$2.00 on 100 gal

We have a few trucks/trailers with them at work, but the weight savings isn't worth the 100k miles we only get out of tires... Trucks and trailers are now spec'd with duals.

Y'all have big problems there buddy I get 165,000 miles out of LP22.5 steer tires, I have over 248,000miles on my SS now

That's what I was looking at, I called LS and we don't get anywhere the discounts y'all get. I sent a copy to SHC and after talking to him I figured something was up. We get cash price with about $.05/$.08 off a gallon,I'll put it like this the biggest savings I've seen was about $11.00 on 165 gallons

All on new trucks/trailers. 4 trucks and trailers, all report the same issues. Trucks are all local hauling fuel. So the trucks are in and out of very tight stations and intersections. Duals last much longer for us, so we are phasing out the super singles.
