I've been with Tango for 10 weeks. The mile started out good but the last three aren't very good. I'm used to running 2800 to 3400 a week. I'll give them a few more week and see what I get.

    Week 1 2530
    Week 2 2120
    Week 3 2421
    Week 4 2436
    Week 5 1921
    Week 6 2996
    Week 7 2361
    Week 8 1817
    Week 9 1864
    Week 10 1776

I started working for tango transport 03/2013 recruiter told me i would be home every weekend except one weekend of every month they required me to be on the road sound awesome right? lol then she continued to say tango was a family and religious company. After orientation they gave me a dispatch name Stuart Riegal well a smart ###, then gave me another dispatch name Rob Avers well with them i never drove over 1,000 miles then Rob told me if i chose to be home every other weekend the mileage would go better, i did that nothing had changed instead mileage dropped then when it's time to come home he sent me anywhere else but my house, since i have been with tango i'm on my 7th truck everytime i broke down it clearly stated on their company booklet first 24 hours driver supposed to get $50.00 and $100.00 for any additional 24 hours well i spent one full week in memphis, tn when i got paid i only got paid $150.00 instead of $650 then tried to call payroll regarding the matter well good luck trying to talk to payroll about your check after i kept trying for many days i finally talked to a woman named heather another smart ### i still didn't get no where with her because payroll charged me $106 for no reasons and they refused to pay me back for it still today tango owed me over $338.56 and even i tried to go up to the food chain no one replied to my email, phone calls, or qualcomm messages. MESSAGE TO ANY DRIVER THAT THINKS COMING TO WORK FOR TANGO I WOULD SAY RUN JUST RUN AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN if you think there's no company that can't do any worse than the one you're with right now well think of tango then if you don't believe the reviews go experienced them first hand.....

How do you figure they owe you $650.00, book says 50 first 24, 100 every 24 after that. You said you were down all weekend, that would be 50 for Sat. 100 for Sun. Seems to me you got the right amount. I don't see how they cheated you.

Well that's 2224 miles/week. (Avg). Dare I ask wut they pay per mile. Even if they were paying .45 /mile I couldn't afford to be there on those miles. Gd luck driver

His original post said 1 full weekend, it's very easy to edit the post after the fact

I could. We learn to live within our means....stop trying to live so high off the hog.
The only way I'd accept that situation however; is if I left the house on Monday morning, and returned home on Friday afternoon.
$1,000.80 Gross/$825.66 Net per week is fair for a 5 day work week in my book....but the HOME TIME has to be consistent.

That is the bigger issue with these rotten companies---they think drivers should accept their low miles/pay AND make you live in the truck at a truck stop over the weekend. They want their cake and eat it too. Then they lie and try to convince you that the lack of miles is either your fault or the economy, and the reason they can't get you home is "there's nothing going that way".

It can be done...trucking companies just have to be willing to do it. I average 2,400 miles a week with my current company (small company w/9 trucks), and I leave Monday, home on Friday every week....hand my paper work in, and they issue me a check on the spot.

i have to agree. tango left me stranded with out a load twice for 3 days or more. once in mobile AL and the other in Elpaso TX. got paid virtuallty nothing to sit around and wait for my DM to find me a load. the only promise they kept was getting me home on the weekend.....

I do live within my means. Cost of living in my geographic area in which I reside is prolly alil higher than yours. I meant no disrespect to any1. Just $800/week would barely be enough for me, wife, an 2 children. I remember a OP post not long ago about how trucking is just a life style, and if money is ur main concern maybe u should think bout a career change. Lol. Well I enjoy trucking immensely, how ever " I work to live" not live to work. I strive to be the best at what I do. And for that I expect to be compensated for it. And I am. I to run for a small company, and love it. IMO so much better than a company with 100+++ trks.
