i had forgotten how STUPID the people who work at the slack whse really are!!! I mean why in the world would you want someone to back into dock 14 when a trlr is in dock 13??? I mean not one other truck is even back here today and it would of been SO MUCH EASIER to get in dock 15. I HATE THIS WAREHOUSE!!! LOL

 

How are things at Tango? Are you staying busy? They had an ad in the local paper today. Are they expanding or just have a high turnover rate?

 

I'm staying right at 2800 mile a week average....I don't think their turnover is high....they don't ask me to do stupid crap that alot of other carriers do, I hardly ever wait on a load unless I'm being picky and want a run to california or north carolina, so I would have to say expanding.....just Friday they were asking trucks to run the weekend as they had too many loads and not enough trucks.

 

That sounds good. I'm trying to get a hold of the recruiter to get scheduled for orientation. I am ready to get started with them.

 

Delivered to Slack on the 11th (Fri), then went to Mansfield mill to live load out of warehouse 2....noticed there was quite a line at warehouse 1...spotted the old "one eye" truck....I drive a former Maverick Freightliner with a Sponge Bob plastered on the grill (Thanks to my wonderful grandkids LOL)..the color is maroon...one of my grand kids says it is purple "cause purple is my favorite color so it has to be Poppa's Purple Truck"...Kind of hard to argue with a 5 year old..LOL

 

Del Tuesday at 1300 in Denton,TX...That will have me 1,918 dispatched miles since Friday afternoon at 1400...includes a long 19 hour layover for a Fedex from Memphis TN to Kenner LA

no..OTR and whatever else needs to be done

 

Got the call today to start orientation on Monday March 7th. Wish me luck.
