Can anyone tell me which companies have a tanker division and also provide training.
I'm looking for companies that don't do a hair follicle test. (I just opened a can of worms, I know. I'm tired of being a loser stoner though and want to change my life. Can I get some credit for that?)
I know Prime Inc is one of them.
Does CRST Malone train and only require a UA? Any help is appreciated.

Go with Prime tanker division.

Stevens Transport has tankers, but I think you have to do a few months or a year in their reefer division first. Their tankers are in the oil fields. Stevens has a cdl school in Houston.

Does Schneider still train drivers?

Not sure on the hair test, that could be different terminal to terminal for any company. Best bet would be to get it out of your system and then start applying. Most, not all, tanker companies do hire students. Not as many as the big companies but they do.CallMeTrowa Thanks this.

Prime is certainly one company that hires newbies for tanker. But their tanker division is VERY small compared to the rest of the company. It's likely you will have to choose whether to wait a long time to get a tanker trainer or train in reefer and keep pestering the company to transfer you over to tanker when they have a tanker trainer available. Here's a video from a Prime Tanker driver explaining this.
CallMeTrowa Thanks this. -
There is a company called Liquid Trucking. They have several divisions, one of which is Bar to Trucking. I've seen ads that say they train. But, I do not know if that means CDL training too, or just tanker training. Quick Google search should iron that out for you.
