Hey drivers , quick question what's a good paying Tanker companies that's dedicated / regional ?. I'm looking for a company that's will to train a newbie and if hazmat is required will pay for you to get it. I'm really looking for a hourly situation but not local . Also , I'm fine if it's non hazardous as well.

    Train a newbie?
    Without knowing your location/zip code:
    • Schneider National
    • Prime Inc
Most other fleets want at least a year of experience....pulling other class-A freight first.

Many hazmat tanker fleets want at least 2 years experience -- & with the requisite safety record to match.

Tanker endorsement is just a test at our MVD in NM . That said , it's totally different than box and flats . ( surge and loading / unloading ) , add a hazmat - background check and cost , fingerprint , then the additional training for whatever hazmat your hauling . Then getting experience.
It's fairly simple to get , but the experince part is what trips most up . Hauling milk and water and food grade is one thing , hauling chemicals , fuel , propane is another.
Getting a hazmat is a choice , and i seriously doubt a company would pay for one unless you'd been there awhile and they explicitly wanted you to have one
