Got my first tanker job after four years of hauling flats and vans. I'll be hauling ethanol. I'm flying to orientation today. Ill have 2 days classroom and then 3-4 days hands on training. This was my main goal since I started driving was to pull hazmat tankers. So I plan to keep this thread updated with what I have learned and the kind of things new drivers are to be prepared for And aware of when starting new in the industry of pulling chemicals. I won't say the company just because I don't know their policies on social media and such. You can pm me though if you have any questions. I'll be running the Midwest. I'm out of oklahoma. This is a regional run getting me home every 5.5 days out and a 10hr at home during week. Tomorrow will be day one.
