Tanker orientation

Hey Amjo sorry its been a week since u replied but wanted to tell u it is going great out here. All of the instructors are nice and amazing. Everyone who has been there here out in Houston is right that they fee you subway everyday. But after yesterday they have decided starting next week they are switching to quizno's cause subway pissed them off enough by messing up orders and forgetting some sandwiches. But this is my second week so today we did our skills qualification test basically just making sure we have learned how to do pre/post trip, couple and uncouple and basic road test with tanker having water in the tank. Tomorrow/Saturday learn how to load/unload the tanker then Sunday off cause second week, then Monday off with my Training Engineer for 10 days OTR, just have a good time out here and let me know when you get out here and let me know how it goes man. Ethos i still hope your my TE. Would be nice if your picking up somebody out of Houston, This upcoming week.

 

Thank you for the update. I figure you are pretty busy with stuff there. Good luck on the road. Oh yeah. Did you have an opportunity at orientation to buy some good slip on boots? Be careful out there.

 

They do sell steel toe boots that are decent and only $35 from ur check but I brought some boots

 

Won't be me, I'm in the north right now and I won't be coming back that way in time. I'm sure you will get a good one though, have fun and good luck!!

I finished driving school in March. Looks like I'll be in Houston next week. Should be fun. Thanks for the tip about Quiznos. And again, good skill and luck OTR.
