Note: I'm listing only the companies that train husband/wife teams together. Unless policies have changed, these will work for you.

Avoid any accounts with "Dollar" in it. Dollar General, Dollar Tree, etc. Those accounts aren't really suitable for new drivers, even though new drivers are hired for those accounts. Easy to bump a car, etc. in parking lots with no docks. Do that and you're fired.
Usually have back in from busy streets with lots of traffic in the way.

For compressed gas tanker jobs -- double check the minimum age requirements.

Some want you to be at least as old as age 25.

This also holds true for other hazmat tanker work, as well.

So, we put in lets say two years with covenant could we then make the transition over to a company like air gas or would we need to obtain tank experience first on top of two years?

KAG (Keenan Advantage Group) was recently looking for teams to do cyrogenics.

Unless things have changed -- you'd need 12 months previous experience elsewhere (with clean driving records) -- to qualify with them.

Note that KAG's cryogenics is a third-party cryo hauler (& NOT a direct supplier) -- so they pick up extra work that the first-string suppliers can't otherwise get around to doing.

If cryo work slacks off enough -- you could be sitting and waiting for loads.

    It just depends.....:dontknow:

Merchant Gas - Kenan Advantage Group (thekag.com)

BE SURE to ask them about their minimum age requirements, as well.

The above is probably your quickest track to compressed gas teaming.

A successful tour of duty with them would later make you first pick with one of the direct suppliers (Airgas, Messer, etc).
