Ok, so I am throwing this to the wolves, with hopes of at least one piece of salvageable advice...here goes..

I am currently a chemical tanker driver with 5 yrs exp. I retired Air Force, spent most of my time securing heavy equipment, humvees, graders, bulldozers, howitzers, boats, helos...etc., on C-130s as a Loadmaster.....yes, we airdropped that stuff too! Growing up, my Dad owned a construction company, and I learned how to operate everything from small backhoes to Cat 245 excavators...am i dating myself yet? In the military, i operated JD 10k capacity fork/front end loaders routinely.

Now....what are my chances that I could get picked up to pull heavy equipment as a lowboy driver OTR? I know that typically, you would need flatbed exp, which I dont have. Have no problem pulling flats, but would like to do that with a company that also has lowboys....that being my goal. Not nterested n starter companies....been driving awhile, and I am paid well.....just looking to grow and learn. Ok.....go!

Lone Star Transportation has an excellent reputation. They're headquartered in Ft. Worth, but hire from almost everywhere. They hire experienced cdl-A drivers from any segment of trucking and will train if you need flatbed, lowboy, heavy haul, etc.
