There are tanker companies that will keep you out as long as you want or live in the truck if that’s your wish.
Try Groendyke. Just make sure you get assigned a southeast terminal formally McKenzie terminals. Plenty chemical runs to keep you busy.

I live in FL so a Southeast terminal would be good. I have read up somee on Groendyke and the pay didn't seem so good in one thread. There may have been other factors with that particular driver.

I love the variety of tanker work... but honestly for me I think I would like working at your company better from talking to some of the drivers. To me going into work and doing the same thing all the time would drive me up a wall to a extent... im considering swapping over to cyro work but the lack of diversity and lack of human contact is a turn off for me lol.

Human contact is the part of trucking I like the least. :D

I hear you on monotony, but I find value in knowing where I'm going and what I'm doing before I get there days in advance. Greatly reduces my stress levels if I know I will be able to park at facilities etc if running late into the night.

I need to issue a correction. The detention showed up on the following week settlement, all $75 of it. Which works out to a whopping $2.20 per hour assuming an industry norm of the first 2 hours free.

I honestly don't know how I'm going to spend it all.

So they basically gave you one hour of their billed rate. At least you got something.

You're talking big money in cryogenic. Air Gas pays really good on that. But they'll fire you if your truck moves and you have your phone in your hand.
