I have not been on here long enough to answer you with a PM so just posting reply to yours here....
Stupidity really, a great company, i had a bid run from Mobile to Birmingham 5 nights a week. 570 miles a night. I never could sleep for over 4 hours a day though and it finally caught up with me. If you can get on with them, I would highly recommend it. Good luck.

From what I heard from a couple of their drivers pay and bennies are first rate, not sure how it all ties in though..The one driver almost made it sound like you start out part time at first..

 

Hey Groundpounder, I was already working for American Freightways when Fedex bought them out. Hate to go back on the road because I like motorcycle touring much better. Yes I have a beemer, it's the fourth one. Great bikes.

My son works for them on the night shift. No wait at the racks so he is in and out. Works 6 on 1 off and gross is about $1300 week.

 

6 on 1 off? I always see them in day cabs
