Make sure you research them before you go. I make it a habit to not talk about companies I have never worked for but ask around on here. They have their own forum.

Agreed... I started looking at Knight out of Florida... And again then out of North Carolina. I wasn't even looking at other companies for the better part of six months... Could not get any kind of response... Now that I am working for another company, I get all kinds of calls and emails from them... LOL
Kind of glad I didn't land there.

At OP, maybe go visit these two tank washes and ask them as to who the local Tanker companies are in the area... They might know all the players in the area... Both large and small.
Worth a shot to invest a bit of time with them. -
Try Girton Propane Service

Western Dairy Transport
Tidewater Transit

Yu wouldn't believe I've already tried those companies

Since you're in a bad area for tankers, then try Abilene Motor Express and Magnum Ltd. and Tyson Foods.

I used to deliver an occasional resin load to a company just north of Little Rock. There were a bunch of QC trailers at the plant so they might be an option servicing that account.

Did you try Oakley? I saw a lot of their trailers at qualawash in w. Memphis when I was tankin. Food grade, but it's tanks
