nope, i don't get it, and neither do you apparently. cuz your post makes no sense to my post.
i made a comment. you turned it into a meaningless discussion.
what does lease purchase, or failed lease purchase have to do anything. and why was it even brought up.
and for those that aren't. how can you be prepared to do the job properly? didn't someone on here once say. you need a seperate trailer to have all the tools to do every load. cuz you just never know what you'll need.Last edited: Apr 4, 2014

the job doesn't pay extra to tarp.

Years ago we never were paid to tarp, the rates were good enough that it was just part of the job. Tarp pay is something new. If the load pays enough I do not care either way. Guys today have no idea what we had going on in the old days. Over 8' high, rate and a half, over 8' wide rate and a half and the penalty was progressive as sizes increased. I know i'm off the subject, just had to get on my soapbox for a minute.

This started out as a general question and it seems to have started an uproar among some flatbed driver's I didn't mean for that to happen!

It happens every time snowyy puts his 2 cents in. It's usually not worth thatCanadianVaquero and MJ1657 Thank this.

happens every time you and others speak up too.
is it worth that?
nope. but i have $.05 to chip in if it makes you happy.

I have never read a post of yours that's positive. Or even makes sense. You're always complaining about something. Weather it be tarping. Rates to Denver or to salt lake. Or how brokers are thieves. Contribute some useful information to this society we would all like to hear it if you have some. I hauled a No tarp load from North Powder Oregon to Moses Lake Washington for $3.48/mi I deadhead 0 miles to pick said load up and bounced 67 miles to reload to Illinois for what I considered a good rate. Considering the circumstances. Like I said you're always screaming about free labor this not getting paid for that. Please just do something about it. I wanna see people succeed and be happy but you make it very hard for me to feel bad for you.

ummm, looks like the only complaining. is coming from you.
and i don't recall asking for sympathy.
i speak my mind, just like you all do. if you don't like what some have to say. don't read. simple as that.
