It's probably going to be a very small percentage of forklift operators who will refuse...Especially if the loads are required to be tarped....
JM Eagle requires smoke tarps on their potable water pipe....They stage it and you place the smoke tarps on the spigot ends of the pipe before they load them....

I don't carry my 8' drops anymore....My experience with those loads....They're mainly cheap and heavy.....
-
Well tell you what, do things your way all you want and more power to you.
But since I had a good reputation with both ends that made a big difference in the way I was treated.
I always was loaded faster, better loads and also was unloaded on weekends when places were closed. I am not about to play macho trucker when they have you setting, people like you would be the last truck loaded or unloaded.
Most likely you would be treated like a red headed step child that spit on the Thanksgiving day turkey. -
I'm so glad you know me better than I know myself.....
Tell us....All of your loads are always $3/m and light too......
-
You guys seriously refuse loads because you have to throw a tarp up on your trailer? Your that lazy?.. Seriously?..
Roehlworld Thanks this. -
4' tarps....Ok.....6' tarps....OK.....Smoke Tarp...Ok....
8' tarps at a $1/m?.....I'll let the NAFTA trucks run those...... -
... and your name is "Working" class...
-
Because there are no rich truckers.....
-
So....You take those $1/m tarped lumber loads then?
-
I tarp for free.. and take any load given to me. I also have to "throw" my tarp a hell of a lot higher than a flatbed.
