If you dont mind me butting in here I would like some info on the experience thing. I have been driving for over 30 years now. The last 18 years working LTL. No tickets in the last 6 years No accidents in 8 years but that was not my fault.

At night I hit a wire hanging over the road and pulled a 3 telephone poles down. Come to find out a truck about 5 min. before me scraped the telephone pole and pushed it sidewise a couple inches which caused the wire to droop down a few inches. Now that was a trip I never want to happen again. Electrical flashes in front of me almost made me crap myself :biggrin_2559:

I did do flat bed for 8 years hauling particle board. Would I be a good candidate for Milton?

As long as you have verifiable employment, you're good to go

its sort of like strong man competitions( the barrel toss ). you have to pick them up and granny toss/throw them over your back as far as you can, 6 feet is the minimum.

how much does the heavies tarp weigh perhaps is a better question. I'm not weak but, just want to make sure I can handle that before I even apply.

I start orientation on Monday and my recruiter told me I should be able to put 80+ pounds over my head. At a buck fifty I can put a 95 pound bar bell over my head and I never do weight lifting. My understanding is that the vast majority of the time the tarps will be placed on top of the load or someone will be there to assist. Maybe I can bulk up, muscle wise, over a period of time. ; )
