Agreed I drove for May and you sit alot at shippers and consignee. your clock is running and you loose money. I have been with Melton for 3 weeks and avg 2 tarps a week and about 2800 miles so far. Been sweatin mt ##### of in Texas and AZ tarping and securing. Wouldn't change it if I could. I am very happy with Melton and flatbedding

Common Since works and if there isnt any call your mentor. I am still nervous everytime I secure a load. But It makes me double and triple check my loads. Dont be afraid to ask. Even if I am comfortable with my securement and there is another driver there I will ask if they think I am good. I havent ran in to anybody that wouldnt take a look at it for me yet

    knuckledragger Thanks this.

Hey Noggin, how much recent experience do you need before getting on with Melton?

I've had my CDL for almost five years but haven't been on the road in over a year. I think you commented on a similar situation in a different post. What would I have to do?
