You can usually go to the library and and get your taxes filed. I use a cpa because I want a refund without audit. HR was filling out my forms different every year and creating a mess on depreciation for me. I have some income from a farm and The cpa saves me bucks every time. Do what the driver said find a tax pro and take him the last four years you will be happy you did. You have a higher income now and paying just your fair share will be more important.

Those guys are idiots. The software they use is basically the same as the tax soft ware you buy yourself. They cannot answer real tax questions because they are not CPA s. They only can read to you what is in front of them.

CPA's read and understand the tax code They are not just trained like monkeys to pull a handle and get a cigarette. They answer your questions and research. All the other idiots are taught to just type numbers into the blocks and bam there ya go. That's why they hire just before tax season. Doesn't take that long to teach that If you have nothing more than a ez form needed then do it yourself. I betting that's you

I ask questions to learn. None of my post since November has said I been unemployed .I have on the other hand since April of last year been working for a temp agency that does events and promotions, and I have said I wasn't sure they would give me a reference or not .But that doesn't mean I was some lazy slob who didn't work sure work could of been better but that is all I could find to do. That is why I am going to commercial driving school to have a career as a truck driver to better my life. I don't claim to be the smartest person but I'm not the dumbest either . So when I see something I don't understand or know I will ask
