I'm getting back a refund this year. Enough to pay my back taxes from last year and have a chunk left over.

I have been driving for a few years and honestly have totally messed up my taxes, the IRS has audited me now for all years I have been driving. I got the taxes done at HR block, but it seems they efffed it all up. My fault totally, there are more deductions then I knew about. Now I am paying a tax company to fix this all that works with truckers. Seems from talking to the company I am dealing with, we otr drivers really are running our own business and should consider being classified as an LLC...anybody else doing that. I am very reluctant to trust anybody since HR block screwed me over. any advice for a new driver would be greatly appreciated.I wish there was a tax place that focused on ONLY truckers.

There ARE tax places that focus on truckers, look around.
The only reason to go LLC is if you are an independent (own your own truck, or are a TRUE 1099 contractor), AND you have at least a $60,000 taxable income. Otherwise, it's not worth the expense and hassle. -
If H&R screwed up, they, not you should be paying to fix the problem, that is their guarantee, if you aren't holding their feet to the fire, then you are spending money needlessly. Personally, I would have demanded H&R step up and deal with it, or threaten them with legal action.
