    A ballpark figure for low to medium wage drivers is probably 20-25% for taxes. Don't forget your cost for any benefits.

    Some states take almost 10% of your income and some other states take 0% of your income. The highest Federal tax rate is 37%, but not many truck drivers are paying 37% since they don't make enough money.
