Thats what we all ARE! -except for Cheeseburger who is a former Maverick Flatbedder. -
Oh, and for the record, my Dedicated Division is down in that Area of Tennessee ALL THE TIME. We deliver to Portland, Lebanon, Springfield, and Murphreesboro, TN ALOT. I see our trucks running through that neck of the woods so much that I am sure you are in a fantastic location to drive for Maverick. I also know that the other divisions load out of the Jackson and Memphis areas, and just West of that area alot too. Go for it Man!
northstarfire0693 Thanks this. -
I like the exercise I get from Flatbed. If I where a Van driver I know I would be huge in no time!

I have pulled reefer in the past. That was back from 98-03 and I still have my CDL. I would have no trouble learning flats, I pick up on stuff real quick. I would like to get intouch with someone in recruiting, but I am deployed in Afghan right now. If someone has a good email address for me that would be great. I would like to know what kind of training I would have to do being off the road for close to 10 years.

i've got alot of friends at Mavrick, that and i've met most of the posters here. not to many drivers have anything positive to say about their former companies, but Mav was alright to me. They do have their issues, but it is what it is...that's just the industry in general these days. -
jxu417 Thanks this.

Just remember....I can haul a lot of flat bed loads, shingles, skidded coils, metal ignots, etc. but I've never seen a flat bedder hauling frozen chickens.
