Since the customer (and or shipper) ordered a truck based X Dimensions for that load and the load was different, then they should pay for a fee to the BCO for their mistake. Calling it a TONU or whatever doesn't really matter. The Customer/Shipper messed up, they should pay for it PERIOD. The decision to take the load, that turns out to be Not as Booked, is completely up to the BCO. The BCO should not be made to pay for someone (customer/shippers) elses mistake !!! Any Agent worth a hill of beans would pay the BCO regardless of whether the customer/shipper did or did not.
