    I got a reply from Trimac;

    "Thank you for your interest in TRIMAC Transportation. Unfortunately, we will not be able to move forward with your application at this time. We require our drivers to have at least 1 year of Tractor/Trailer experience or have graduated from an approved driving school. We accept students from PTDI and CVTA certified schools along with several other schools that meet Trimac standards"

    So TDI does not meet the standard...hmmm:biggrin_25513:

    Is it a big deal to be attending a school that's not PTDI/CVTA certified?

    I got an offer from SVTN Transportation they do tankers, but I need that hazmat/ tanker/ TWIC card. Also I sent in an app for a local fuel delivery company, and may be the first recent grad to get in with them if their cooperate company gives me the okay.

    Got my TWIC and haz last week. I did the prints on a Thursday. Picked up my card on Tuesday. Very fast. Hazmat letter took about 2 weeks to get after prints. I did have a passport card already which may have helped speed it up.

    So I was thinking. Svtn service transportation's closest terminal is in Saraland, AL. It's about a 2 hr drive one way from where I'm located. That's would cut 4hrs out of my home time, and I can't take the tractor home because I'll be hauling a hazmat tanker. Do you guys think it's worth it or should I look else where?

    I'd go for it, unless something better in tanker work pops up.
    McKenzie Tank Lines in Mobile hires new cdl grads.

    They may be switching over to Mack trucks, but not sure.
