Has anyone obtained their CDL from this school? I live in Nashville and this is the closest school to me. I've seen it in passing, but I'm rarely in town to go in person and I really don't want to get bombarded by sales pitches. Are they pretty decent? What were the fees? Any help is much appreciated!
EDIT: Nevermind about the tuition. They have it spelled out "five thousand nine hundred ninety-five dollars" on their website instead of "$5995". Go figure...
TDI Murfreesboro, TN anyone?

Couple weeks ago someone came on stating they promised financing, started their training, just to require a co-signer and money down a couple weeks later. TDI seems like it has a solid curriculum, price is way better than $10,000-$15,000 with these FAFSA schools. I just encourage you to finalize ALL aid before you start training...should be common sense...taking nothing by word, you want written!

Believe me, I've been down THAT road once too many times with state colleges... They won't register classes until you pay and Financial Aid won't pay up until you're registered, etc... etc... ad nauseum.... LOL!

I was hired by crete which although i'm not there due to something dumb i did, i think they are one of the best companies. Can't remember the cost as i went through a state grant for free but im thjinking it was in the 2 to 3 k areawolfewriter83 Thanks this.

I paid $5,000 for my CDL back in 2002. Don't think it's too unreasonable but get everything in writing, especially from the company hiring you after you graduate. You'll get some kind of reimbursement after you pay it but they won't post the loan to your credit report unless you fault on it. Check community colleges or call the DOT office where you live and ask them. You don't learn actual driving skills in the school anyways, just regs and safety and the basics of shifting. Real training comes after from the companies. Good luck

I went to TDI in Sanford, FL the beginning of this year. I have no complaints. They did what they promised and I got my license. Murfreesboro is their corporate HQ so I can only assume that location is run as good or better than the one I attended.

Thanks for the input guys! I also discovered that the tech school near where I live (Nashville) also offers CDL classes for just under $2000, so it looks like I have two viable options here.
Cheers!
