    Things are being taken way too far. A Bible sitting on the desk is not hurting anything. The Bible is a work of Literature, and a work of Literature would be expected to be found in a classroom. When I was in high school, yes, here in liberal California, the AP English classes were required to read several books in the Bible as part of the required summer reading list.
