That's great news !

Things are good here. Just came off hometime yesterday. Sitting at the Pilot in West Wendover, NV for the wife to be done showering then off to Sacramento, CA to deliver this load.

 

Im just about an hour away from home now. After a few weeks out, im beat and dying for home time, so im excited, lol. New partner is great. Couldnt ask for much more, especially considering he's fresh from training. Our first full week we got screwed over with short runs amd canceled loads in south cali for 3 days. Wasn't too happy about that, but it was about a 4500 mile week, and i got my 500 dollar team bonus. So that was good. This week were gonna end 2 days before the pay cycle and i believe we have well over 4000 again, so its still,gonna be a good check, especially with hometime in. Teaming is stressful at times, but its not that bad.

 

Teaming can be stressful at times. Somedays I just want to park it for a day & get the load to it's destination a day later.

Make sure you guys take time out to enjoy some of the perks of the road. A lot of these casinos are trucker friendly & have great food.

We've had extra days to deliver loads so we'll explore the cities we're in. Two single guys can have a lot of fun out here. Lol

 

Yeah, I've just been waiting to get more used to how things run before deciding to go out and try things like that. I'm starting to get a bit more adventurous tho, lol.

 

I must have just missed you. I spent the night at that GM then had a return trip to Dayton TN.

Sounds like you're in the same boat I just jumped out of, lol. I didn't have the patience to HOPE I find a decent partner, and the solo pay here is a joke.

 

You want to be solo ?US Xpress had a lot of ProStars but their dumping them. Ours started on fire. Breakdown told us they had 3 other trucks that happened to. Getting a new truck or one without issues is hard unfortunately. I have no good advice other than bugging whoever is in charge of assigning trucks when your at a terminal.
