Team driving is a scam

Not buying the high numbers.

 

Air products. (each driver makes 115k plus p/yr)

Linde (about the same as above)

Old Dominion for sure will pay 100k + but you won't make that with all the LTL carriers.

Otr out fits like covenant where teams split. 53 a mile is too low of pay to run a truck!!!

And there are companies out here that are paying 130k for a solo driver p/yr.

 

A FedEx Ground guy was looking to jump ship and was talking to one of our drivers (Dayton Freight) and an Old Dominion driver at a meet point we all use. He asked my coworker what we made and he said there was no way in hell.

That's called leading a horse to water.

 

Just like Bob said. You can lead a horse to the water. I’ve given you the information. I know what our teams make. And we got solo guys making over $100K a year being home daily. If you choose not to believe it, well that’s on you. Too many truck drivers think there aren’t company driving gigs that pay well. But that just means more miles and more money for us.

 

What kills me is when drivers in fast trucks knock slower LTL trucks. Or how we're ugly going down the road for lacking all the chrome and chicken lights.

You can have your #### chrome. My paycheck sure ain't ugly.

Driver I will have you to know that I drive a 379 PETERBUILT!!!!!!!!!!! It's got an 1175 CAT, with a 27 speed Eaton trans. And a 7.55 rear end. And we put the chrome shop out of business when my company tricked it out!!!!!

I'm home everyday, I only do one load per day making 10k per year. Who cares about a pay check when your the talk of the truck stop!!!!!!!!!!

Oh....so your the guy that parades around the truck stop at 2.5 miles an hour for two laps before you exit. Lol.
