Phroziac - nice of you to come back & explain yourself a little better. If more folks would 'man up' like that the world would be a better place!
Thanks to all and I really understand the caution against it - I really do. I'm still butting my head against the wall though trying to find SOMEONE who'll hire an inexperienced driver. Living in MA certainly doesn't help, I've founf that out the hard way. Jtrnr1951 may have hit the nail on the head though - in these times you gotta do what you gotta do so we're going to try the team approach and see if we can get in that way.
Team Driving - is it a way to start?

Maybe you're right, just make the round if phone calls every couple of weeks and see if anything breaks. I guess they don't go back over old applications then? -
If a person takes a job with a co. that everyone here is saying NO NO NO!!!! How long would you need to stick it out before you could go to another co. with "Experience" ???

Im not understanding how people can say there is nothing out there. I was on the road for several years, came off to try some office management stuff and to please my wife. She has since left and I have went back on the road, loving it. This guy I work for has been a joke from the beginning, so I put out a few feelers and I had 3 offers last week and one already today. I took my drug test for Empire cartage of Garland Texas this morning, going to start with him as soon as the results come back. No worries there.
Everyone is having trouble, but if you have a good work history, and clean mvr and background you really have no problem finding quality employment. Im not saying this is the case always, but seems everyone that is looking and cant find something there is something in their past that is costing them. I hope the young people today understand what they do today will cost them eventually. just my two cents worth. There are opportunities out here, you just have to stand out in a crowd. -
No skeletons here. Just no exp. and too many with exp. looking at the same time as me. I have clean DMV, no gaps and same house for 21 years.

After the training, My SDM told me that the only option at the time was to do Team 48 with a total stranger who didnt live anywhere near me. I figured there was going to be issues when it came to who was gonna talk the holidays off. I figured at least having a co driver who lived next to me was the lesser of two evils.
