Team freight from brokers

Not as much as you would think. Especially right now with the market down.

You may snag a team load here or there but it’s not paying much more right now. You will need to find loads that are fcfs and deliver them quicker then a solo and just knock out more loads each week then a solo would.

 

I called today on a load to Florida, it was posted @ $1700, then $1900, finally $2200 for 650 miles. So I figure I can’t go wrong. Easy run delivered on sat in Orlando. I can DH up to Ga and Load something on Monday. So I called and was told a Team was needed. After convincing the guy I was ready to run and only 2 miles from Shipper, he asks “What would you need to do it?” I replied $2200 just as it’s posted. No he says that’s a team rate. He can only pay $ 1900 for a solo Driver. No thanks, have a nice day!
