I was teaming with a guy, who constantly got lost. The guy had little common sense, and the truck was always late. Every time I attempted to offer advice or assistance it fell on deaf ears, with an attitude. This guy took up to 90 minutes to program the GPS. Normally at the wrong time, and people would honk and flip us the bird often. This is a person who could not navigate without a GPS device. I would wake up to the truck in a tight U-turn. It got to where I just stopped asking, after we were 3 hours late (reason unknown). The issues were brought to the DM and safety, who didn't seem to care. I noticed the assigned miles started dropping and the treatment from dispatch was not good. I refused to get back on that truck. Now weighing my options, after truly seeing all the bait and switch tactics. Not to mention, the money has been much lower than promised. I'm in a contract, but my attorney assures me the contract no longer holds water.
Your thoughts?

I'm 12 miles south of Springfield, and spoke to a couple recruiters today. I plan to start the ball rolling tomorrow. Your input is truly appreciated.

Trailiner Corp. in Springfield is the one I was thinking about.
What type trucking are you interested in? -
At this point, I am pretty open. My background was machining, but have been squeezed out of the profession. I am truly interested in flatbed. Hopefully, the tarps and straps would add some exercise to the job. I'm 49 so the right move in a career change is important. Seems tough to find a good home these days.

Trailiner Corp. is refrigerated.

Melton Truck Lines
Western Dairy Transport is milk tankers.Inthedark Thanks this.
