Can someone explain how team pay works? If a team requests. 50cpm split.. Does it go for log book miles x. 25 or odometer miles x. 50

    Example one
Driver a drives 2500 in that week
Driver b drives 2380 in same week
    A driver . 25 x 2500 is 625$
    B driver . 25 x 2380 is 595$

    Example two
    Driver a drives 2500
    Driver b drives 2380
    Total miles 4880 x. 50 is 2440$ divided by 2 each driver gets 1220$

    Just need some clarification.
Hypothetically speaking team is company team.

It's really simple. Don't over think it. If you run 5000 miles in a week, and your paid 50 cpm split, the run paid $2500, or $1250 each. Just multiply your total miles by your rate, and divide it by two. That's it. It's not based on who drives how many miles.

Why is it not based on how many miles each driver drives

The truck makes the $$$, then it's split between the two drivers evenly, so, it's up to the drivers to split the driving fairly. Actually, you will be splitting the hours driving, not the mileage.

or, you could just divide the miles in half. = pay. and divide that in half. = pay per driver.

as for how it's paid. it's no different the driving solo. other then twice the miles. maybe. and double the pay. again maybe. split between 2 people.

I just can't sleep in a moving vehicle. Then add in all the bumps, lane changes, and some concrete highways with the , thump, thump, thump. I-10 across LA, MS comes to mind.
