The money can be better but teams get those short runs too. I think I'll go solo after my stint here. I'm more of a loner type who likes to do things my way. There's too much compromise with a co-driver. I am glad I started as a team though. That way I can get a little help if I need it.
I'll be running into the hometime problem in june when my daughter graduates. I'm going to want to be in KY and we both live in FL.

Just like the other post, i don't like to team because i want to see it coming. I tried it for awhile, didn't like it at all. Guess i'm a loner at heart. The trucks not moving when i'm asleep.

i guess i'm one of the lucky few that not only tolerate a moving bed, but prefer it. sleeping in a still room/compartment's always made me restless, whereas i can't go 400 miles on a road trip without falling asleep unless i have driving duties.
but i like to hook my ipod up to the cig lighter and blare out japanese music and the occasional american stuff, so that's one thing i'd probably be better off going solo for. haha. -
Used to be I slept just fine after the first night out. But now, I would say that there is not enough work for two drivers, it is way too close for two unrelated people, it is way too hard to sleep when your life is at stake. Cops and airline pilots might team up for eight, ten, 12 hours, but who else teams up with another person in a small space for up to two weeks?
Don't think I would do it again . . . -
Well,since I drive a day cab................................
