Hi Craig, I was doing some research on USX and found your great thread here. My wife and I live in Aurora and I see that you and your wife are from Lakewood. Practically neighbors! So we found this CDL School here in Aurora that works directly with a couple big companies like Werner and USX. I'm going to keep working my regular job while we both attend school in the evenings and weekends. After reading about the great equipment and the miles that teams get, we're both very excited about possibly working for USX. It looks like you've been having some serious issues with that brand new Freightliner. Did they get you and your wife a new truck or are you still driving the lemon? So far, USX is our top pick. You and I both come from corporate backgrounds and it's amazing to find an industry in the US, like trucking, where employees have options. You both have had great attitudes and have been a great inspiration. I hope you keep posting about your USX ventures. You mentioned you have a blog. Can you post a link to it? Please stay safe.

Hey guys, I have a question. What is the protocol for crossing RR tracks when taking the road test in Tunnel Hill?

My friend and I are looking at running team. What are you averaging for miles a week?
    Thanks

We still have our truck, we hope it is fixed. We just ran from Eastern Nebraska to Seattle and then back to Eastern Michigan with no problems. If we have another problem we will swap trucks. Our Fleet Manager already offered us a new one.

You can reasonably expect 4800 to 5500 a week. 5500 a week is pretty comfortable to us. It really depends on your fleet manager and your attitude.

I have heard both regular and Hazmat. Ask the instructor giving the test before you start. That is what I did.
