Team starting out with US Xpress

Werner just sent a recruiter to our class this past week. They had a $3000 each bonus for new teams. It is paid out similar, but sooner. Have you heard any negatives about this company. They seem to be pretty reputable. ?

 

I would stay away from werner I was a team driver for them didnt get the miles I was looking for and your checks will not be consistant I had check that were 100
but I did make close to 1400 a couple of times but it was rare

 

how is going teams for them I am thinking about taking them on there
offer I was with werner for about 2 years but my miles were cut alot and
had no benefits

 

i would check their pay. last time i talked to one of their teams they were making alot less

I drove team with Werner for a while about 3 years ago, The team pay at that time was .24 cpm and as far as I know it hasn't changed.

 

Please continue to keep this and the wonderful related threads going for years to come. I had every desire and plan to team for USX with a friend of mine, but during my recent physical, my doctor was poking around my lower back and POW!!! Well, after an MRI showing all the problems I have with/between my L3, L4, L5 and S1 vertebrate, it was pointed out that I will need to use Vicodin and Valium to control pains I have suffered for years in my lower back, legs and feet. There goes my CDL career. I look forward to reading the many stories (good and bad).

 

I am hoping I can get ahold my recruiter soon I am looking forward to going with US EXPRESS as a team driver

 

Well, Ron and I are getting down to the wire. We are talking with our USX recruiter and if all goes as planned, we should be in orientation the first part of September. I would like to find murphy's law and hide it somewhere for at least the next year.
Then maybe once we are on the road, he'll have a time trying to keep up with us.
