Weather is absolutely beautiful here......I'm in Galveston...LOL

 

Had a total blonde moment. Totally forgot to send in our trips lol. Looks like next week will be a 5000 mile week and we will be with family celebrating Craig's dads 80th bday! Having a surprise birthday party. Life is good!!

 

Sure hope you guys have a great time!! Saw a pic of Craig's dad. He looks to be in great health for 80. Hope it is wonderful surprise for him and a blast for your family.

First off I want to tell you that I hate you guys because I have been doing next to nothing for the last 2 days except reading this thread and your blog posts, but really I guess that is my own fault.

I finally gave in and skipped to here from page 35 to "Thank You" for your posts and to congratulate you guys on your achievements, it sounds like it is going great.

I have been driving for about 15 years and my girlfriend started riding with me full time for about the last year (kids are mostly grown now). After a while, she came up with the idea that she should learn to drive so we can be together and both be getting paid.

So now the time comes when we just about have everything ready to get her enrolled in a school and find a place for us to go to work. After extensive research we were thinking that USX might be the place for us, but I was still unsure because I will research things all the way to the end of the internet before I can make a decision.

Let me tell you how happy it makes me that had you not so clearly documented your experiences throughout the last year, I would probably still be spinning my wheels with the decision.

I have spoke with a recruiter, our applications are going in tomorrow and she will be attending school in April.
