A break really came in handy when we needed a 34 hour reset. This is what they call an accident FYI. Luckily no one was hurt.

My friend and I plan on going to school together and start driving as a team. Can anyone tell us how much teams start out OTR?

If you have hazmat you get .48 cents to split otherwise it is .44 cents. You get that for both loaded and empty miles.

No ticket :biggrin_255: In California if nobody gets hurt, no citation. Also since no ticket, no drug test,

The other thing we learned was NEVER chain. Our Fleet Manager freaked out and said "dear God, please tell me you did not have the chains on when you got in the accident!" Obviously this would be a very bad thing

Will someone please clarify, does just having hazmat endorsements get teams 48 cents for all of the miles, all of the time, or just when you're under a hazmat load?

    Thanks.

That makes it a no brainer.

I let my endorsement go last time I renewed because my current company doesn't haul any hazmat and because of the hassle of getting fingerprinted again for the 100th time.

I guess there's one more thing I'll need to get taken care of.
