It takes $$$ to make $$$ duh!
Werner clearly isn't cutting it. You're obviously a new driver and should have known Werner's reputation.
Regardless you're being overly negative for ZERO reason. Ask yourself the right questions. Search for answers and since your original post smacks of a pity party i want to help. Lose that destructive mindset. It isn't helping you!
Where do you live (outside of truck)
Do you have 6 months experience yet?
Construction season is upon us again and 7 days a week in a dump truck 12 hrs a day comes out to $2600 a week gross. Just one of many solid examples i would consider before having to breathe whatever your partner had for dinner last night
Day in & out.
dunchues, Sons Hero, The one california kid and 3 others Thank this. -
Honestly, it's mostly common sense.
It's surprising how stupid people are.Sons Hero, Rideandrepair, Lonesome and 2 others Thank this. -
Some people have to be spoon fed. Others just need a kick in the pants for what they already know.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

To be a winner....at Werner....you can't be a whiner....or a weiner.

Now I hate to burst your bubble, but You're talking $31 an hour for driving a construction dump truck. Where you get that kind of pay? Surely not here in the Midwest!

It wouldn't surprise me.

Indiana you can. My dad has a triaxle I’ve run for him in the past, and you can do pretty well if you don’t mind being a yo-yo2Tap, Lonesome and The one california kid Thank this.

Average $25hr. Many, not all seasonal construction driving jobs offer time and a half after 40. It's the incentive to lure drivers into a crappy lifestyle of living in your truck to get crap done in the 8 months out of the year this type of work can be done. The one california kid Thanks this.

Fact. I loved what I was doing at Werner at the time!TB John and snowlauncher Thank this.
