Me and my husband drove team with team werner, talk about out of the frying pan... straight out of training into hard mode running was NOT as fun as I thought it would be good god they are insane over there.

Be prepared to get loads, then have the delivery time changed suddenly in route to be much earlier. They run your BUTT off and they DONT ASK to do anything they just do it. I literally had an argument every time we wanted to get a few hours leeway to get a #### shower. One time we had an argument after i told them before we picked up we would need 2 hours after delivery to get a shower and laundry done. Told them when picked up, told them enroute, told them when we emptied and they STILL ARGUED WITH ME.

There was no way to fit a shower in enroute the way they routed and moved up times one small traffic jam made you behind. It was nearly impossible half the time to get a load on time with the fact they handed to you hours late for pickup and then off you go and they move the delivery time to some impossible time. Hit a traffic jam, late, they hit you with a late charge.

Crazy crap I tell you what. So yes they run you, to death. I wouldn't do team werner again, but some people love it. Depends on your temperament I guess. Me I like showers, not being late constantly, and not fighting my 70 hour clock (they do not believe in resets).

I would suggest trying regular werner team first, then if you think thats not good enough move to team werner. I wouldn't recommend you getting your wife directly out of training into team werner, work up to it. Teaming does take some getting used to.

They try to get you at at least 1000 a day, we average about 6000 miles a week, I think our pay was 39 cpm (split) and our paychecks were in the 1800 range, on good weeks. But on bad weeks well thats trucking though. Just remember to save some cash cause not every weeks going to be 6000 miles no matter WHO you go with.
