Check out Skelton truck lines. They haul pharmaceuticals on reefer trailers. We had a road recruiter talk to me an my wife the other day. They're paying teams .85 a mile. 100 dollars a day each for delay pay. Plus they pay 70 % of your health insurance premiums. A lot more benefits. I can't remember it all. But we were impressed an plan on trying to hire on with them. The guy said their teams are averaging 85000 per driver per year.

How much experience? Didn't see it on their website.
Do you driver box truck or tractor-trailer?

I have their pamphlet in my truck I will look at it later when I'm stopped and get back to you on that as far as how much experience is needed. They use trailers to haul Pharmaceuticals and blood.

I just looked at their pamphlet. Ya need 3 yrs drving experience. Now i remember. The road recruiter did tell me that for husband and wife teams that the lead driver's experience is what mattered. He said the 2nd seat driver would be accepted with 3 to 6 months experience.

Yes it so far sounds pretty decent. The road recruiter said we would stay out 4 to 5 weeks then go home for 8 days. I can live with that. I bet that 8 days off would simply fly by tho.
