Hubby and I have already declared our territories - it will be just like when we camp in our little tent trailer - I take care of the inside - he takes care of the outside :D

Ok I know I will probably get some flack on this one but one company you can look into is CRST. If you go over they will allow you to train your wife after she gets her CDL. It's not the best company but at least it would be somewhere to get you foot in the door.

Trust is definitely a big issue with team driving. My co-driver has been on the truck for a little over a year now and there are still times when I cant sleep mostly in the winter

Most companies will let hubby train spouse. Schnieder will, UsXpress will, CRST will and Covenant will. Those are the only ones I checked with.

I sure hope I get this log stuff down - trying to figure out the 34's - 11/14's - 70's - AND figure having to do that will another driver to concider **running and screaming in circles** For those of you running teams - how do you schedule your time? Do you have one driver do their full allotted amount of hours - then the next? Or do you split it up between the two?

Needless to say I haven't even started school yet - so I'm just trying to think ahead and know what others do... TIA

My co-driver and I usually try to stay on a 12 hour schedule. That gives you time for stopping if you are on the open road. Also helps keep your body on a schedule. Whatever happens in that alloted time happens. Sucks sometimes though if your stuck driving while your co-driver got stuck waiting for the day. But, it usually evens itself out in the long run
