Technical question for ham and 11 meter...

    You should be able to receive with one while talking on the other.

    According to the specifications that radio should draw about 10 amps at 65 watts.

    Do you know the SWR of the antenna for the 2 meter radio?

    What coax are you using for the Yaesu?

    Is the power supply plugged in directly to the 110 volt wall socket or are you using one of those 2 prong to three prong adapters?

    We have decided that some of it was the RF coming throught because the coax was laying right up under the power supply. We are going to check the SWR's also. Maybe we can figure something out.
