First of all, if one were to view such "reading material in public", then one ought to be arrested or scolded at the very least for doing so. Decorum rules in public places.

True, but the really good stuff, you still have to pay for.

Used to be, my former high school coach (RIP), coached at the same school for over 35 years, and has coached two generations of swimmers / water polo players, including several all-Americans and a couple of Olympians (Gary Hall sr(my dad swam against him) and Shirley Babashoff(who was one of the early athletes to speak out against the systematic doping of the then East German athletes and caused the results to be nullified and the records rewritten years later, there was an article about it in a recent issue of Swimming World).

Our coach actually created the Junior Lifeguard training program that is in use by the city of Huntington Beach (and was copied verbatim by other cities). When the show "Baywatch" was created and cast, they consulted with him about training the cast, so at least that part of the show was real.

Cool. What was your coaches name? Shirley swam for Mark at Mission Viejo I thought. I am an east coast guy. I swam for one of the first woman coaches growing up...Frankee Bell. She developed a bunch of great swimmers including Robbie Dickson. He was the only swimmer to beat Mark Spitz at NCAAs. She also developed Melvin Stewart.

I coached a YMCA team in NC for 23 years. Before that I was the first age group coach for what is now SWIMMAC out of Charlotte NC. They hired David Marsh away from Auburn a few years ago and they now have pretty much a pro team to go along with the age group program.

My high school coach was Ray Bray at Fountain Valley High School (California). Shirley was so fast, she competed against the boys in high school, but did swim club level at Mission Viejo

My dad swam with Spitz at both Arden Hills(Sacramento) and Santa Clara. Mark's family belonged to Congregation B'nai Israel in Sacramento (one of the oldest congregations west of the Mississippi).

Years later, my dad was the Orange County chairman for Leukemia Society's Swim a thon classic(early 80s). Mark was the chairman for Los Angeles.

When I was stationed in Germany (I was there when the wall came down), I trained with a local club team that used two pools: An indoor one, and an outdoor 50m pool. The outdoor one was constructed from stainless steel because the winters get so harsh, any other material would crack and be very expensive to fix.

Personally, if I am stuck overnight or longer waiting for a repair, I'd like to be in a location that either has legal brothels, or full service masseuses ........

    SCHWIIIIING!!!!!

I do enjoy reading online posts for casual encounters on Craigslist, some are so fake, or are so obviously looking for money or drugs, it's funny.

I am single and won't be cheating on anyone. Why not?
