Corvette owners, especially c7 and c8 owners act like they have an ACR Viper..... when it comes to selling them.

And the judge should add to the sentence that the teen should go to the wrecking yard to watch the Corvette be crushed in the Auto Compactor.

Watch, hell, he should have to throw the switch.

Also, how fast do you have to go in California before you get arrested for reckless driving?

    TheLoadOut and mjd4277 Thank this.

Both of the drivers mentioned in that article were doing over 120 and both were ticketed instead of being arrested.

But we can't go 65 in our trucks...

Don't try to rationalize anything California does. It'll never make sense.

Heck in MA 21 mph and up over the posted speed limit is considered reckless endangerment, regardless of how old you are.
In a teen driver’s case if they get 2 citations it’s a mandatory 30 day suspension of their license or permit, plus they have to take a traffic safety class, plus pay a $100 dollar reinstatement fee (after the suspension is served). And of course, points against the license/permit and insurance surcharges!
That’s provided that they don’t get a date with the judge!

Frankly, There isn’t enough strict enforcement of traffic laws just about everywhere in this country. That’s why people keep doing what they’re doing because they know they’ll just get a slap on the wrist… The hammer needs to start coming down on these people
