by the time you're done with the monthly bills just for the comfort and intellectual entertainment while on the road, what will you save ? does it matter? the sound of silence is loud .. how come its so hard to deal with the wheels turning inside your own head? alot of drivers sit and stare out the window..

I must be doing something wrong then.
I have VZW unlimited plan, I average 40 gigs/month and don't have that issue.
I have a friend who uses more data and doesn't have any real complaints either.

Get a tv and a winegard antenna and use your data to watch hulu plus for $12 a month commercial free. The tv's for sale at the ts use dc power so no need for an inverter if you don't want one installed in your truck. When your data doesn't work(none of the wireless carriers works everywhere not even Verizon or At&t) you can hook up the winegard antenna and get local programming. When your data is working and your laying down on your break, you have the option to hook your tablet up to the big screen.

I mounted my dish to a load lock( we have a rack on the sleeper) and just put it up when I want to use it, I could move it to a new truck in less than 5 minutes

No doubt , Straight Stacks !

I am an reading machine. I knock out about 50 books per year , not counting all of the reading I do on here and online news feeds.

    Gotta keep that noggin sharp.

The boob tube is such a waste.

Is that a custom mount or did you purchase it? A friend has this set up but sets the sat. On top of the cab because he can't find a window mount.

If it is perchased, where did you get it?
