I am just wondering how long its gonna be til we start pushing more west?? Rumor has it, it not to far off.

 

The sooner the better. I've been running the East Coast since '88. I doubt if you'll ever see us do much California though. There is too much competition out there so the rates are in the tank coming out.

 

I delivered to Coca-Cola and cold storage DC's there in Dallas/Ft. Worth a few times. The truck parking after 5pm is crazy, way to many trucks around there. Texas Motor Speedway has a awesome tour 7 days a week for $8.00 and you can pull the truck right up to the track.

 

So whats going on with you TCD guys? Stayin busy out there are ya?

 

I was sick this week so I didn't do anything until Friday. I went and picked up a load of sausage in LR then brought it back to the yard. It delivers Monday morning in Lebanon TN. Weeks with holidays in them seem to be fairly slow for us as companies wait to see how their inventories are before they start stocking up again.

 

Tenn Pride will be closing at the end of April. Sure will miss getting loads there... Very nice people and get you in and out quick.

 

I did pretty well this week. Just shy of 2400 miles. I delivered Lebanon Monday then got a dry load out of Athens Al to Russellville. I was able to get home before the party goers got out on the road. I took a ConAgra load to Bedford PA and delivered it Friday evening then headed to Shippensburg PA for a load of yogurt. It was supposed to deliver this morning at 0600 but I got it off last night. That allowed me to pad my miles for the week and to get a 34 in. I'm loading at P&G in Lima Oh in the morning headed to Marked Tree AR. I think it's a load of detergent.

Warmer climate is calling me. Changes are coming...soon.
